CASE: Mental Resilience Training for Ukrainian Elite Soldiers and Veterans
From frontline pressure to trained mental resilience
Modern warfare places extraordinary demands on the human nervous system. Soldiers are required to maintain focus, regulate stress and make rapid decisions while operating under sustained physical and psychological pressure.
MindMind has entered into a Strategic Memorandum of Understanding with Medical Cluster Ukraine, represented by the Rivne Interregional Medical Cluster, to develop and document a military pilot project focused on mental resilience training for Ukrainian elite soldiers and veteran groups.
The challenge
For military personnel, resilience is not simply about being able to endure stress. It is also about developing the capacity to regulate the body's stress response, maintain cognitive readiness and support physiological recovery before, during and after demanding situations.
The Ukrainian defence environment provides a unique real-world context for developing and evaluating practical approaches to mental resilience.
The MindMind approach
The pilot project will explore how MindMind can be used as a structured training tool to support:
* **Mental resilience
* **Stress regulation
* **Physiological recovery
* **Preparation for demanding situations
* **Recovery following prolonged stress
The intention is to develop a practical training approach that can be integrated into military and veteran environments rather than relying solely on conventional psychological interventions.
A strategic Danish–Ukrainian collaboration
The collaboration brings together Danish technology and Ukrainian medical and defence-related expertise.
MindMind ApS is partnering with Medical Cluster Ukraine through the Rivne Interregional Medical Cluster, represented by **Tetiana Vorontsova**, President of the cluster and Board Member of the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance.
Together, the organisations intend to develop, implement and document the pilot programme among Ukrainian elite soldiers and veteran groups.
From pilot to future capability
The purpose of the project is not simply to test a technology. It is to investigate how mental resilience can become a trainable military capability.
The pilot will provide a foundation for documenting practical experience and exploring how structured physiological training can contribute to future approaches to human performance, stress regulation and recovery within defence environments.
MindMind – Train the mind. Strengthen the mission.
