MIKO HATCH SEALER BAG

Miko Hatch Sealer Bag (MHSB) is designed for rapid and effective sealing of hatches, trunks and manholes that are damaged or left open, with or without hoses and cables pass-ing through the opening.

The MHSB is a versatile and flexible, specially reinforced re-inflatable plastic coated bag. It features double para-aramid layers covering the inner air lung, providing high strength and durability. The MHSB has proven effective in a wide range of onboard and onshore applications where there is an urgent need to seal large openings.
The Miko Hatch Sealer Bag is equipped with friction bands on both sides, two top-mounted carrying handles, rotatable air valve and a pressure relief (safety) valve. It is also fitted with a watertight light to facilitate location of the bag in poor visibil-ity conditions or when fully submerged
During inflation, the bag forms a cylindrical shape and adapts to any geometry. The sealing effect begins and increases as compressed air is supplied. Full sealing performance is achieved when the internal pressure reaches approximately 0.2 bar. The pressure relief valve activates at 0.25 bar to pre-vent over-pressurization.

The bag can be operated using the air supply system from the Miko Salvage Bag or from alternative air sources such as a standard SCBA cylinder, when connected via a Miko air sup-ply hose and regulator.
Optional protective covers for heat and flame resistance, as well as chemical exposure, are available for the MHSB.
