SepcoTech Partners with BeeX to Bring Autonomous Underwater Vehicles to the European Defense Market

Roskilde, Denmark — June 2026 — SepcoTech A/S, Europe's largest reseller of remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) and a long-standing supplier to the Nordic and European defense and maritime sectors, today announced a new partnership with BeeX, the Singapore-based autonomous underwater robotics company, to distribute BeeX's Hovering Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (HAUV) platform to naval and defense customers across Europe.
Under the agreement, SepcoTech will serve as the defense-sector partner for BeeX's flagship A.IKANBILIS HAUV in Denmark, the Nordics and wider Europe, offering local sales support, technical demonstrations, and after-sales service to European navies, coast guards, and defense agencies.
The partnership will be showcased for the first time at DALO Industry Days, where SepcoTech will present the A.IKANBILIS platform to Danish and international defense procurement audiences alongside its existing ROV portfolio.
A defense-focused underwater autonomy platform
BeeX designs, builds, and operates hovering autonomous underwater vehicles capable of untethered, minimal-intervention inspection and survey missions. The company's A.IKANBILIS platform pairs onboard adaptive autonomy with the Sambal OS cloud reporting system, cutting data transfer requirements by up to 10x compared to conventional ROV workflows and enabling inspection teams to make faster, better-informed decisions without putting divers or large support vessels in harm's way.
BeeX has already demonstrated the platform's defense relevance through a 2025 memorandum of understanding with French subsea sensor manufacturer ELWAVE to integrate electromagnetic detection technology into the A.IKANBILIS for naval and offshore detection missions, and the company lists energy and defense applications as a core focus of its roadmap. BeeX has been active in Europe since 2022 through offshore wind and nearshore infrastructure deployments, and unveiled its newest platform, BETTA, in June 2026.
