NX-U
arrow_backTil oversigtenNatrix is a Latvian unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) manufacturer based in Riga, specializing in the development and production of the NX-U, a versatile and highly modular robotic platform designed to support a broad spectrum of defense, security, and mission-critical operations.
At the core of the NX-U concept is a common-base architecture. The base platform provides the essential mobility, onboard power, communications, control, and data-transmission infrastructure, while mission-specific capabilities are introduced through interchangeable payload modules. This approach enables operators to configure and reconfigure a single platform for different missions, reducing the need for multiple dedicated vehicle types while simplifying deployment, training, maintenance, and logistics.
The NX-U architecture supports integration across a wide range of operational roles, including intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), remote weapon stations, combat engineering, CBRN detection, logistics and cargo transport, and casualty evacuation (CASEVAC). Its modular design also provides a foundation for the integration of additional sensors, communications equipment, specialized tools, and third-party payloads, subject to technical and operational requirements.
Designed with deployment flexibility in mind, the NX-U combines a compact footprint with a lightweight construction, allowing the platform to be transported efficiently and rapidly deployed in the field. Its modular architecture enables operators to adapt the vehicle as mission requirements evolve, making it suitable for both specialized applications and broader multi-role UGV fleets.
The NX-U is operationally proven in Ukraine, where it has been deployed for logistics and casualty evacuation missions in demanding field and battlefield conditions. Experience gained through real-world operations has directly informed the continued development of the platform, contributing to improvements in reliability, mobility, usability, maintainability, and mission effectiveness.
Natrix continues to develop the NX-U around the requirements of end users, combining field-proven experience, modular engineering, and mission-driven adaptability. The result is a scalable UGV platform designed not around a single application, but as a flexible robotic foundation capable of supporting current and future mission requirements.
