The Iguana passively detects artillery, mortar, rocket and firearm discharges as well as approaching UAS. At a cost-effective scale, the Iguana monitors subtle acoustic signatures, provides early threat alerts, compensates for radar coverage gaps, and enhances security across all weather conditions.
By minimising the reliance on active radar systems, which can reveal positions and become targets, the Iguana reduces personnel exposure risks and preserves costly radar assets by cueing signal emitting systems. In addition to this, the passive acoustic solution is capable of detecting approaching UAS
